Pastel, a pastel drawing or pastel painting, the same word in French, it has been more than 500 years so far. 2019, the 100th anniversary since pastel has been brought into China, the 70th anniversary of New China after being founded in the meantime. In order to further promote the development of pastel in China, we will host a series of events from March to October to celebrate“The 100th anniversary of China Pastel”. In this October, the organizing committee will invite to Suzhou the pastelists internationally in high-reputation and representatives of pastel societies from more than ten countries, globally from five continents. We will host the international pastel conference, pastel exhibition, workshops, demos and pastel material fairs, etc. (A detailed timetable attached below.)
